Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires inspection and, if necessary, modification of the airspeed–machmeter on Learjet Model 24D serial nos. 266 and 279 so Vmo is clearly marked—either a red radial line at 306 kt (no coloured sectors) or a red arc from 306–700 kt (with coloured sectors); markings above 306 kt must be removed.

Compliance is within 300 hours time‑in‑service after 28 June 1974; the aircraft owner/operator must carry out the work and arrange any Aircraft Flight Manual amendment with the Department of Transport.
