Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of specific Learjet 35/35A aeroplanes (listed serial numbers) to visually inspect installed spoiler actuator serial numbers and, if those numbers appear in Learjet Service Bulletin SB 35-27-36 (14 Dec 1998), replace the actuator in accordance with that bulletin within 150 flight hours. It affects the listed aircraft owners/operators and matters because a failed spoiler actuator can let a spoiler panel float and induce an uncommanded roll (Background).
