Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires specified Learjet 35/36 aeroplanes to have their flap attachment fittings inspected per the Gates Learjet service bulletin, to be completed within 200 flight hours after 30 September 1986.

It targets operators/maintenance organisations, who bear the cost and downtime; the measure responds to observed cracking that could cause asymmetric flaps and prevent in‑service failure.
