Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of certain Gates Learjet 35/36 airframes (listed serial numbers) to have the cabin interior liner around the emergency exit door inspected at the next periodic inspection after 30 Jan 1981, using the referenced Gates Learjet Service Bulletin. Costs fall to the operator; the measure ensures the liner won’t impede emergency-exit operation and concentrates a modest, safety-driven maintenance burden on a small group of aircraft.
