Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of specified Gates Learjet 24 and 25 serial numbers to carry out the work in Gates Learjet Service Bulletin SB 23/24/25-301B to address the stall warning accelerometer and its wiring. Compliance is required within 220 flight hours after 28 February 1986 and must be repeated every 220 hours. The rule is issued because a faulty accelerometer or incorrect wiring plus an inadvertent stick‑pusher could create control forces or an upset beyond the crew’s ability to recover (Requirement; Compliance; Background).
