AD/LA-4/6 - Front Seat Restraint Installation - Modification - CANCELLED

This rule originally required owners of specific Consolidated Aeronautics aircraft (including the LA-4 Series and Colonial models) to install upper torso restraints—such as shoulder harnesses—in front seats if their aircraft were certified before 1967.

However, this directive has been cancelled. As of 17 January 2008, it no longer has any legal effect. It has been replaced by a newer, broader directive (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1). Aircraft operators who previously needed to comply with this rule should now follow that replacement directive instead.
