Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of specified Colonial and Lake C-2/LA-4 series aircraft (serials ≤547) to inspect the engine-mount upper-side straps for cracks, corrosion, or damage per the manufacturer’s Service Letter.

It’s mandatory to catch mount defects early to prevent in-flight engine separation and ensure continued airworthiness of these vintage airplanes.
