AD/L.40/2 - Resewing of Seat Belt and Securing of Tailplane Actuating Nut Lock Screws - Rework - CANCELLED

This document cancels an old aircraft safety rule for the Meta Sokol L.40 series (a Czech-made light aircraft).

What the original rule required: Before September 1971, owners had to perform a one-time safety fix on their planes: restitching the seat belts and tightening lock screws on the tailplane actuating nut (part of the rear wing controls).

What this document does: It officially cancels that directive as of 27 August 2009 because the required maintenance is no longer necessary—presumably because all affected aircraft have long since been modified or retired.
