Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates in‑service retorquing of the "B" nuts on specified Pratt & Whitney JT8D fuel manifolds where that work hasn’t already been done. It applies to operators and maintenance organisations responsible for affected engines and requires following the procedures and intervals in the referenced Requirement Document (FAA or local AD). The practical effect is additional maintenance, downtime and cost borne by operators to meet the mandatory retorque and any follow‑on repairs.
