Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires all Jetstream 3200 operators to carry out high-frequency eddy-current inspections of the wing lower surface at the outboard end of the main landing gear bay to find fatigue cracking (Requirement; Applicability). The first inspection must occur before 10,000 landings or within 600 landings of 15 September 1994, then every 10,000 landings thereafter (Compliance). Operators pay for and schedule the inspections, which may cause aircraft downtime.
