Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD applies to British Aerospace Jetstream 3100s and certain 3200s and requires a daily post‑flight test of the central annunciator panel plus a one‑off modification (removal of diodes from the engine‑stop circuitry) per Jetstream SB 80‑A‑JA 911045 within a short compliance window. It aims to prevent a diode failure that can cause an uncommanded engine shutdown; operators bear the recurring test cost and the one‑off maintenance burden.
