Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of British Aerospace Jetstream Series 3200 aircraft (constructor numbers up to 922) to cold‑work the critical holes in the wing main spar access panel per BAe Service Bulletin 57‑JM 8160. The change is aimed at reducing multi‑site fatigue cracking. Operators must complete the modification before the aircraft exceeds 6,000 flights or by 31 December 1991, whichever is later; the cost and downtime fall to aircraft owners/operators.
