Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of the listed British Aerospace BAe 3100 (Jetstream) aeroplanes to carry out the modifications in British Aerospace Service Bulletin 24‑JM7657A (by 31 August 1989) so TTL and stall‑protection test switches cannot be inadvertently selected in flight. Costs (parts, certified labour, downtime) fall to operators; the change reduces the risk that in‑flight activation of those test functions could create an unsafe condition.
