Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

The AD requires owners/operators of British Aerospace Jetstream 3100 series aircraft to carry out the maintenance/inspection actions set out in BAe ASB 76-A-JA880440, as issued by CASA, because incorrect propeller control rigging has caused difficulty feathering during engine shutdowns. Operators bear the compliance costs and must obtain and apply the BAe service bulletin, since the AD delegates technical procedures to that manufacturer document.
