Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires mandatory calibration of unmarked CATIC aircraft altimeters (notably fitted to Skyfox CA21/CA22A/CA25 series) because they can give false altitude readings. It applies to owners and operators of aircraft with these altimeters.

You must have affected altimeters calibrated to CAO 108.56 and file a Major Defect Report under CAR 51B if they fail. Deadlines depend on installation and last check; compliance is critical because false readings pose serious flight-safety risks.
