Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Israel Aircraft Industries Westwind Model 1124/1124A to inspect and verify that the engine inlet cowl and aft nacelle attachment bolts are approved, following Israel Aircraft Industries Alert Service Bulletin 1124-54A-138. The action must be completed within 50 hours time-in-service after 4 July 2001 because unapproved AN3 bolts were found and are considered fatigue‑critical for this application.
