This Airworthiness Directive, issued under subregulation 39.1(1) of the CAR 1998, mandates corrective action for an identified unsafe condition on all Model Astra SPX aeroplanes. It binds aircraft owners/operators and maintenance/training organisations to implement the AD’s requirements and compliance timings (not reproduced here). Compliance costs (training, maintenance, parts, downtime) fall to operators, who must follow the AD or seek approved alternatives.
