Plain English Summary

This Airworthiness Directive orders owners/operators of Israel Aircraft Industries Model 1125 Astra aircraft (serial numbers 004–024) to replace specified fuel‑tank electrical harnesses because their Kapton® insulation can crack and potentially ignite. The AD mandates replacement of four listed part‑numbers in accordance with the manufacturer’s alert service bulletin and requires completion within 150 hours time in service after the directive’s effective date. Operators bear the cost and must schedule the maintenance within the stated compliance window to keep the aircraft airworthy.
