Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This Directive applies to McDonnell Douglas (Hughes) and Kawasaki 369 series helicopters and requires operators to carry out the Part 1 actions set out in the manufacturer's Service Information Notices. It sets recurring timing windows for those inspections/repairs, leaves technical detail and model-specific applicability to the SINs, and therefore obliges operators (or their maintenance providers) to arrange and pay for the required work and record compliance.
