Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD orders operators of certain Hughes/Kawasaki 369-series helicopters (specific serial-numbered airframes) to inspect the engine air‑filter by‑pass door — the backup that opens if the main filter clogs. Regular inspections are required to prevent the door sticking, which could let debris into or starve the engine of air and cause in‑flight engine damage or failure.
