Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of Kawasaki 369HS and 369D helicopters fitted with the magnesium collective pitch mixer bellcrank (P/N 369A7602‑W501) to carry out dye‑penetrant inspections before the next flight and every 150 flight hours until the part is replaced. If cracks are found the part must be replaced before further flight; installing the aluminium bellcrank (P/N 369N2664‑501) stops the inspection requirement. The stated aim is to prevent in‑flight break‑up and loss of control; operators bear inspection and replacement costs.
