Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Hughes 269A, 269A‑1 and 269B helicopters to complete a specified set of service instruction notices before a Certificate of Airworthiness will be issued. It consolidates earlier modification and inspection actions into one directive to simplify administration, but imposes a one‑time cost in parts, labour and downtime because completion of the listed inspections/modifications is mandatory for certification.
