AD/HU 269/54 - Collective Pitch Throttle Gear - Inspection and Replacement

This AD requires owners/operators of Schweizer (Hughes) Model 269A and 269B helicopters to inspect—and, if necessary, replace—the collective pitch throttle gear within 100 hours time-in-service after 31 July 1976, following procedures in Hughes SIN N-131 and FAA AD 75-15-02. It mitigates a identified airworthiness/safety risk and imposes inspection, parts and downtime costs on operators.
