Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The AD requires operators of all British Aerospace BAe 125 series aeroplanes to carry out crack-detection inspections of the nose-gear pivot pin exactly as specified in BAe-125 Service Bulletin 32-217. Pins with more than 4,000 landings must be inspected by 31 August 1988; pins below that count must be inspected before exceeding 4,000 landings. It matters for safety and imposes inspection, repair and cost obligations on aircraft owners/operators.
