Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Hawker Siddeley HS‑125/BAe 125 business jets to amend flight manuals to use Australia’s metric units (kg, metres, mm for balance, litres, kPa). If cockpit instruments remain in imperial units, the manual must show both systems for safe cross‑reference.

The change prevents dangerous unit‑mixing during loading and operation; compliance was required by 1 January 1984.
