Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates inspection (and removal where required) of the flap outer hinge arm assembly on HS/DH/BH 125 series aeroplanes unless modification 252670 is fitted. It requires an initial inspection before the next flight (if not already done) and repeat checks every three months, using British Aerospace Service Bulletin No. 57-54 Rev 1 for procedures. It affects operators, owners and maintenance organisations and creates a recurring maintenance and downtime cost unless the modification has been incorporated.
