Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this is: A cancellation notice for a previous aviation safety rule.

What it does: Revokes (cancels) Airworthiness Directive AD/HS 125/141, which previously required specific clearances for fan venturi motors on British Aerospace BAe 125 series aircraft.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of British Aerospace BAe 125 series aeroplanes.

Why it matters: This directive tells aircraft operators that the old safety requirement about fan venturi motor clearance no longer applies as of 11 May 2006. However, this doesn't mean the aircraft no longer need maintenance—instead, this specific rule has been replaced by a newer directive (AD/HS 125/178) that operators must follow instead.
