Plain English Summary

6/10 complexity

This AD requires specified British Aerospace HS 125 aeroplanes to be modified per the CAA (UK) mandatory Service Bulletin to install power units with integral circuit protection that prevents lighting-wire/component overheating. Australian-registered aircraft must comply by 31 September 1992. Amendment 1 removes a previously mandatory inspection and its repeat schedule. Owners/operators bear the one‑off parts and labour cost, and maintenance organisations must carry out the modification and update records to remain compliant.
