Plain English Summary

5/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners and operators of Hiller UH-12 series helicopters to retire specific parts at or before the life limits set in the manufacturer’s referenced inspection guides and service bulletin. The manufacturer’s revised retirement lives (and a Soloy STC variant schedule) determine when components must be removed; operators bear the cost and compliance burden and must consult the manufacturer and notify the Department for high‑stress operations.
