This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Aerospatiale GY‑80 (Horizon) aeroplanes (serials before 125) to inspect fuel supply pipes where they pass the wing‑root/fuselage and, if chafing is found, replace or protect them to prevent fuel leakage. Compliance (by 25 Nov 1969) falls to maintenance organisations and licensed engineers. Operators may fit a split rubber sleeve or follow Sud Aviation Service Bulletin No. 28 as an alternative.
