AD/GULL/3 - Front Seat Restraint Installations - Modification - CANCELLED

What this does: This document officially cancels an old aviation safety rule for specific vintage aircraft.

The backstory: In 1972, the safety authority required owners of Percival Vega Gull aeroplanes (certified before 1967) to install upper torso restraints (shoulder harnesses) for front seats.

What's changed: As of 17 January 2008, that specific directive (AD/GULL/3) is cancelled. The safety requirement hasn't disappeared—it's just been moved into a broader general directive (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1) that covers multiple aircraft types under one umbrella.

Who this affects: Owners and operators of Percival Vega Gull series aircraft. You no longer need to check this specific directive number for seat restraint rules; instead, look at the general requirements in AD/GENERAL/74.
