Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The instrument mandates owners/operators of Grob G115A aeroplanes serials 8090–8109 to inspect and, if necessary, correct the steering damper per the German LBA AD 90-344 (with Grob Service Bulletin TM 1078-17 referenced) before the next flight after 21 March 1991. It affects those owners/operators (who bear costs and downtime) and matters because it removes a manufacturing defect—oversize bushes—that can cause rudder jam.
