Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD mandates a one‑off feathering check of Woodward propeller governors (P/N 8210‑018 / DDA 6875708) installed on specified Allison 250‑B15G/B17 series engines because a possible manufacturing calibration error could slow or prevent propeller feathering. Operators/maintenance organisations must identify affected serial numbers (per the referenced service documents), perform the check and any corrective action within 50 hours TIS after 20 Sept 1982, and bear the associated cost.
