This document cancels an old aircraft safety rule (Airworthiness Directive 43) that originally required owners to modify the power supply connections to aircraft hourmeters (flight time counters).

Why it matters: The required modifications were completed long ago on all affected aircraft. Since this was a one-off fix rather than an ongoing maintenance requirement, the directive became obsolete and has been removed from the aviation safety rules.
