Plain English Summary

6/10 complexity

The instrument revokes AD/GENERAL/39 Amdt 2 and replaces it with AD/GENERAL/39 Amdt 3, issued by a CASA delegate under subreg 39.1(1) of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1998, requiring installation of a generator‑system warning placard as set out in the AD’s requirement/compliance sections.

It directly affects aircraft owners/operators and their maintenance organisations, who must carry out and pay for the installation and any paperwork; the excerpt omits the detailed applicability, timing and instructions, creating planning uncertainty.
