This directive requires replacement of specific clutch/free‑wheel and clutch/torquemeter shaft attachment bolts on Eurocopter SA341G and SA342J helicopters fitted with clutch assemblies P/N 341A35‑0010, ‑0011 and ‑0050. CASA mandates the change per Eurocopter Service Bulletin 65.58 Rev 1 within 50 flight hours to correct an IPC error that specified bolts 1 mm too long, which can thread‑bind and cause bolt‑head separation; operators pay parts and labour and must follow the service instructions.
