Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires operators of certain Eurocopter SA341/SA342 helicopters to modify Securaiglon passenger seat‑belt assemblies per the manufacturer service instructions to eliminate a reported buckle‑jamming fault.

It affects helicopters with the identified belts, places the cost and scheduling burden on owners/operators and maintenance providers, and matters because it reduces a passenger safety hazard by mandating a timely retrofit under the civil airworthiness framework.
