Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates that every owner/operator of GAF Nomad N22 and N24 aircraft must carry out the corrective work described in Nomad Alert Service Bulletin ANMD-53-9 to address a reported rudder‑pedal jam. Compliance is mandatory within 100 hours TIS after 30 Nov 1989 or at the next scheduled Maintenance‑Release inspection after that date, whichever is later.

The cost and scheduling fall to owners/operators and qualified maintenance organisations; the bulletin contains the technical instructions the AD requires.
