Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive (AD/GAF‑N22/25) requires inspection and, if necessary, modification of the air intake anti‑icing valve on GAF N22, N22B, N24 and N24A aeroplanes. Compliance must follow the procedures and times set out in GAF Alert Service Bulletin No. AN22‑30‑1.

It affects aircraft owners/operators, maintenance organisations and certificated engineers (with CASA enforcing compliance). It matters for airworthiness and safety and creates mandatory maintenance costs, downtime and record‑keeping tied to the referenced service bulletin.
