Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates inspection of horizontal stabiliser rivets on specified GAF N22/N24 airframes per GAF Alert SB AN22‑55‑3 Rev.1: inspect before next flight if not already done and repeat at intervals not exceeding 100 flight hours until the aeroplane is modified.

It directly affects owners/operators and maintenance providers, creating immediate grounding risk, recurring maintenance costs and an incentive to pursue a terminating modification. The requirement is issued by CASA under the Civil Aviation Regulations (Part 39).
