Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Gippsland Aeronautics GA8 aeroplanes (S/N 8-00-004 to 8-02-021) to replace specific pages of the Aircraft Flight Manual because the GA8 loading trim sheets used an incorrect fuel moment arm (Background; Applicability). The CASA delegate issued the AD under CAR 1998 subreg 39.1(1); operators must fit the revised pages before further flight, so aircraft owners/operators bear the compliance cost and administrative burden (Requirement; Compliance).
