Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD mandates an immediate (forthwith) modification of the parking‑brake control on Schweizer (Grumman) G‑164 (Ag‑Cat) aeroplanes, per Grumman G164 Service Bulletin No. 39. It applies to all serial numbers 301 and subsequent and therefore obliges owners/operators to arrange and pay for the work, imposing near‑term maintenance scheduling, parts and labour costs, and potential aircraft downtime; maintenance providers must perform the modification.
