Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of Schweizer (formerly Grumman) G-164B Ag-Cat aircraft (serials 01B–659B) must inspect and modify the rear fuselage extension per Schweizer Service Bulletin No. 59 Rev. A.

This Airworthiness Directive (Amendment 1) expands the affected serial range and requires the work within 100 flight hours after Jan 31, 1984, or at the next scheduled check (whichever is later) to prevent rear-fuselage structural failures.
