Plain English Summary

This AD requires owners/operators of Schweizer (Grumman) G-164 and G-164A aeroplanes (serials 1–625) fitted with the A1976-11 spray fan brake control to modify that control per Grumman Service Bulletin No. 44. The change must be completed within 100 flight hours after 29 August 1969 to correct a defect that could allow fan brake failure during agricultural spraying, protecting flight safety.
