Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires specified Gulfstream (Grumman) G.159 aeroplanes (listed by serial number in the instrument) to have their main landing gear retract cylinder attachment assemblies replaced with parts 159WM10276-1/ -2 and balls 159WM10277-1 before an Australian Certificate of Airworthiness is issued (unless already done).

It provides terminating action for the repetitive inspection in FAA AD 97-14-10, trading ongoing inspections for a one‑time parts replacement.
