Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive mandates a one-time inspection of the engine fire extinguisher switch on Gulfstream (Grumman) G.159 series (Gulfstream 1/TC4C) aircraft, to be performed per Grumman Customer Bulletin No. 292 within 100 hours’ time-in-service after 31 May 1977. Aircraft owners/operators must arrange and pay for the inspection and any follow-up work; maintenance organisations execute the work and CASA enforces the compliance deadline, creating a short-term mandatory safety check with scheduling and cost implications.
