Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of certain Gulfstream models fitted with Goodyear Flight Eagle tyres (P/N 348F83-2) to check tyre serial numbers and replace any tyres in the range 0168xxxx–0185xxxx before further flight. CASA cites FAA reports of tyre tread separations that can damage aircraft structures; operators pay for inspections, replacements, and any resulting downtime, and must follow the manufacturer's service bulletins within the 10‑hour compliance window.
