Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners and operators of Gulfstream II (G1159) jets with 3,000+ flight hours must urgently inspect the rudder-actuator attachment to the fuselage within 50 flight hours after 10 Nov 1981. The mandatory check looks for elongated/worn bolt holes, cracks in surrounding structure, and loose fasteners. This Airworthiness Directive targets a reported risk of structural degradation that could impair rudder control and create a serious flight-safety hazard.
