Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This document officially cancels a previous aviation safety rule about Lear Romec fuel pumps.

What it does:

Revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/FSM/25 Amdt 4 (a safety rule that previously applied to these fuel pumps)
Tells aircraft owners and maintenance engineers to stop following the old rule
Replaces it with a new directive called AD/LYC/110

Who it affects:

Operators and maintainers of aircraft fitted with Lear Romec fuel pumps
Anyone responsible for ensuring aircraft fuel systems meet safety standards

Why it matters: The old safety requirements are no longer valid. Anyone maintaining these fuel pumps must now follow the new directive AD/LYC/110 instead, which aligns Australian rules with American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards.
