Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of certain Fuji FA-200 variants fitted with Teijin Seiki P/N FIF-40000 to inspect the fuel strainer within 10 hours, repeat every 100 hours until a permanent modification or replacement is installed, and complete that Phase II action by 1 Feb 1985. It addresses reported internal stack‑pipe lodging that can restrict fuel flow. Operators bear inspection and modification costs and downtime, creating an incentive to source the spare part and complete the permanent fix promptly.
